Kowhaiwhai Pattern

Today for the Summer Learning Journey I made a Kowhaiwhai 

First I went on the summer learning journey and watch a video to see what I needed to do. After I got an idea of what to do I opened the template made my own background and though about how I would make my pattern. After that I Duplicated my Korus and made my pattern.

I enjoyed doing this activity and had fun making my pattern in my own way.

    Fiona here again from the Summer Learning Journey. What a beautiful kowhaiwhai pattern you have made! I really like the orange and red tones you have used in the background and the way your koru pattern flows - ka pai! Did you enjoy this activity and learning about Tānerore? I thought it was really interesting.
