 Auckland Zoo Recount

I was super excited when I heard we were going to the Auckland zoo. When we made it to the zoo we all went into our groups Miss Kirkpatrick, Miss Sheryan and May were taking care of the kids. I went in Mays group.

The first animal we saw was a Red pandas. It took us a long time to find the red pandas. They were hiding in the trees. Then we went to see the wallabies. I like the wallabies because they look really cool. Then we went to South America. We saw Spider Monkeys. They looked amazing. Then we went to see the Otters. They were small. Finally we went to see the kiwis they took long to find when we found one it was really amazing.

Then we went with Hoepa. We went to see the Baboons. There was a ginkgo tree where the Baboons were. The tree was really smelly. The Baboons had pink bottoms. It was really hard to find one. Then we went to the Cheetahs there were two of them. Hohepa showed us the Cheetahs skin they run 100 miles per hour.  Next we went to the Elephants there were two their names were Anjaly and Burma. They were putting bark on there back. Then the keepers let them out. One of the keepers made Burma’s mouth open. Then we went to see the flamingos there were some small ones and big ones. Then the whole class had lunch. After lunch we went and looked at more animals we saw a Rhino, Penguins and other ones. Then we all went to the playground and played for the rest of the time. Finally we went back to school.
