L.I Learning the Basic Addition

Today I did the basic facts box and got all the answers right.
 We had time our self to see how fast we could answer the question.
My time was 14 minuets and 6 seconds.

Ripper Rugby

L.I  Learning how to play Ripper Rugby

At Rippa rugby they taught  us how to play. They gave us a belt to put on our waist and then we put tags on our belt. There were two colours of them black and red. We made a wall and then they gave us the ball and when they blew the whistle we had to run and the people in the middle have to take the tags off us if they do we pass the ball to some one else in the team. then they taught us how to catch and throw.

L.I Positive Communication

Today in Kiwi can we learnt about positive communication Miss Grace and Mr Smanu told us about being nice to people when they don't win because they tried there best.  Mr Smanu and Miss Grace also made a activity for us.we got into two groups. Miss Grace's team Vs Mr  Smanu team the game was about flipping cones Mr Smanu team tern the cones upside down and Miss Grace's team put them up words. at the end Miss Grace's team won.


Then we play'd karate when Miss Grace or Mr Smanu say 1 2 3 4 or 5 we do a move.  Miss Grace's group was winning until one person in Mr Smanu group beat every one Miss Grace's group.  Everyone was nice because they said nice try, You can do it just keep trying and other nice words.
At the end everybody was happy.

SSR Selfie

LI: To Summaries and Retell a Text. 

Today i went on the can do and did SSR Selfie and took a photo of a book.

I answered questions that were on the slide. 

The questions were about the book.

I found new words and found out who wrote the book. 

Keywords

This week in reading we learnt about keywords. 

First we worked on understanding what a keyword was and was not. 

Then I made this poster to show my learning. 

I look foreword to using this strategy while reading.

Descriptive Writing

The " Descriptive'' ,writing'' activity is used for practicing using  Descriptive language. 
The comments faction is used to describe any of the gathered photos. There is a list of languages features to help create description. The objective descriptive writhing activity  is to improve descriptive language abilities
