QAR
L.I. To pose questions, and locate the answers in the text.
A right there question is really easy to find in the book when you are reading or doing work as its in one place.
A think and search question means that it is in the book but you have to look at other places to find the answer.
Author and you question means that it is not in the book but you can use what you read and your own prior knowledge to find out what it is.
On my own means that you can think what it is by yourself.

Fractions and Decimals
L.I. What are fractions and Decimals
Fractions are parts of an object of a whole. For example there are 4 people and one apple pie.So then they cut it into a half then they cute it in half again and that makes four equal slices of pie.
There are two parts in a fraction numerator and denominator.
Numerator is the pieces that you have. The denominator is the number at the bottom and that is the whole piece which is cute in pieces. Decimals are shown as fractions that are less than one.
The relation ship with fractions and decimals are that decimals can divide with numerator and denominator.

Volume and Capacity
The stranded measurement of volume and capacity is milliliters and liters. Volume means how much space it has and capacity means how much liquid it has in it.
When estimating volume look at the object and then guess what the measurement of the width, height and length it would be. When estimating an object with capacity use milliliters or liters. To convert to millimeters divide 1000 and to convert to liters multiply 1000.

Geometric Art
L.I. To create geometric art by using masking technique.
For art I did geometric art. Geometric means simple shapes with curves and angles. Masking means hiding something.
First I put a frame around the paper and then made a big section with masking tap and then made it into a smaller section.
After that I did big sections to smaller sections with the whole paper to fill it up.
Then I colored it, the colours I used were blue, purple, yellow, green, pink and red.
After that I slowly peeled of the masking tap of my geometric art.
I felt happy and proud with the finale results.

Light and Sound
This week we learnt about light and sound vocabulary
First I made a copy of a light and sound vocabulary that was made by Mr. Wong. Next I put the muddled up definitions in the right place. I used multiple dictionaries to make sure I put them in the right place.
Then I made copy of a google slide that was also made by Mr. Wong the slide was about find, draw, animate and act. What to do was go back to the vocabulary and find a word from it and either put it in find, draw, animate and act.
I did wavelength for the find and for the drawing my group drew an echo and one person from my group put there hand out the window for transparent and the last my group did the vibration.

Properties of Light
L.I. To observe the properties of light
Light is really bright and it is something that helps see while your in the dark or if the electricity is out.
Putting light in front of a mirror will show how light can be reflected. The light will bounce back in the direction the mirror is pointing.
When covering light with opaque objects it won't travel.
When putting a prism in front of light it makes a rainbow. This is because it splits the light up.
